Monday on New & Approved the special guest interview and performance for the show was Will and The People from the UK.
I’d heard of this band before as I was approached to have them play my venue and after trying to shuffle gigs so they could fit it wasn’t going to work.
Then I had a phone interview with Will from Will and The People, then the studio phone wasn’t working, then the phone cable wasn’t working so after trying to do an interview via speaker phone we both decided it was too hard.
Finally it was happening and I’m so so happy we had an in studio experience.
It was such an incredible live performance, 5 men, their only instrument their voice.
The interview was more like a chat, it was so laid back and casual and they were all so sweet and lovely.
My co-host Matt and I were both bummed we missed their gig, 2 days earlier.
After the show we ran into the band who invited us to follow them on their ‘Tram Sessions’ shoot and look how beautiful it was… the band had so much fun and the people on the tram loved it!
Once we got off the tram the band still wanted to play so we sat at the tram stop while they played another song….
