last night i interview Matt the singer of Melbourne hardcore band MINDSET on my radio show.
Seeming Matt is shy and I don’t know him that well I was expecting him to be soft spoken and shy with minimal answers but in actual fact it was the opposite and one of my favourite interviews.
it’s funny how no matter someones personality if you’re passionate about something it shows.
I’ll have the podcast next week!
if everyone can reblog this that’d be amazing! if you can come that’s be incredible! we are taking donations for the silent auction if you want to donate cds, merch, etc please contact me
Earlier this year Dave Graham, who played a big part in the hardcore and rock music scene, fiance and father passed away leaving many friends, family and co-workers shocked and sad.
Wednesday 5th October friends of Dave’s are banning together to hold a night of rock, hardcore and punk music- Dave’s favourites to raise money for his young daughters trust fund and to raise awareness of mental illness.
Heading the bill is Australia's hard rocking bad boys of pub rock FASTRACK.
With already had a massive year supporting rock legends URIAH HEEP and touring non-stop see them blow Revolver apart!
Next up is Melbourne hardcore band MINDSET who released their debut album earlier this year with rave reviews and radio play and have kept busy touring non-stop since it’s release!
Opening the night is Melbourne based folk-punk singer songwriter ALVY SLINGER. Best known as the front man of the much talked about punk band CALVALCADE he will be kicking off the night solo playing originals and your favourite punk covers.
ALL acts on the bill have kindly donated their time to play this fundraiser.
If you knew Dave, were effected by his work in the industry, love live music and just want to support a good cause we’d love if you can show your support and come down and share this event with all your friends!
Give aways all night!!!!!
