And for the first time at my chapel street home I locked myself out of the house and a night of typing interviews turned into a late night dinner, jewels and chats with one of my most interesting and intelligent friends.
I love how things just happen.

the tour is shaping up nicely and quickly and so steadily!!! it’s so exciting to have something that i want to spend payless hours on!
house hunting is so stressful, time consuming and disappointing but will be so worth it in the end i really can’t wait!
my favourite person in the world is visiting this weekend!

Last night I worked the door at a hip hop show and felt bad ass.
Then I went to the tote and caught up with mates.
Then we all went back to shells house and danced and sang and chatted about music until the sun came up.
That’s what life is about
for the next 2 weeks i’ll be using this as a phone.
i have no numbers saved, no emails, no music, no instagram, no draw something…. my life will be very different!
That moment where you’re running late for a funeral because you were waiting on a bands blurb for a media announcement.
Work is taking over my life!
For some reason I just went through some old scrap books and found one from 3 years ago.
It had to-do lists which included:
Applying for presenting jobs
Gaining more experience
Becoming better in front of the camera
Intern in the music business

Did I ever think writing that then 3 years later it’d had all happened and it was only 1 year of that it all came together!

Why is it getting harder to be away from them? It’s meant to get easily the longer I’m gone right?
One thing I hate about our generation and don’t understand is to have a friendship and conversation and interaction with someone online yet act as if you don’t know them in real life.

After being at the studio at 10am, interview, edits, meetings, prep, radio show, dinner, drove to the airport, back to the studio for an 11.40pm interview there was a problem with the line and connection and the interview has to be rescheduled…. Oh man!

my interview with once upon a time central coast band now Melbourne band BOY IN A BOX.
I have known Tij and Athan for years.
Athan was in a band I use to manage and we were great friends for a few year and Tij’s band would always play with Athans, was weird to be interviewing them in a band which is getting heaps of radio airplay, touring nationally and us all living in melbourne.
Just decided I’m not going to apply to host The Racket on triple j.
As much as I want to be on triple j I’m not passionate about metal like someone hosting a metal show should be.
I get mad when people apply for tv hosting jobs when they either don’t know what to do when they finish school or are a model or musician looking for exposure so I’ll see this one out.
Thanks to all my friends who were encouraging me to though I really appreciate the support and faith you all have in me.
