Again I’ve had such an inspiring and motivating day.
I feel like so many things are falling into place.
I feel like I’m on the right track.
I feel the confidence to see those dreams become a reality.

It’s amazing what a starry sky, ocean, fresh air and love can do to your soul.

future

the future is bright
there are so many things to see, do, learn, explore, feel, touch, taste!

the next week alone is making my head spin!
gigs, auditions, booking USA, moving plans, school.

life you are just too exciting!

One day I will have one in my house and so I’ll never get bored with it will only use it on special occasions What am I saying I’ll never get bored

i am such a dreamer

i always have been.

like the time i was 6 and went to the new kids on the block concert i legit thought donnie would see me and want to marry me..

nothing’s changed

this folks is one of if not the best moment of my life!
interviewing Neil Finn was amazing!
if only the 10 year old me standing on a rubbish bin at the Crowded House farewell concert would have known that 15 years later i’d be interviewing him

meet Molly Meldrum
i did it!
12 months ago!MTV classic was launching in Melbourne and SLASH was playing.I had to get there…. and i did!i was late but perfectly timed, walked the red carpet just after wolfmother, just before Brian McFadden… what a sandwich!
alas i saw Molly and was stopped in my tracks!i have wanted to meet him for so long.ideally i would talk to him about presenting, tv, music, life…. that conversation is still to come!we met, he was wasted, i was tipsy, i said i was a TV presenter and he was my idol, we got a photo (which i never saw).after i stood in between him and Chris Cheney and watched SLASH…. was amazing!

tour with a band
this is my favourite memory of tour.we had just finished warped tour, my second and we had some shows in Kansas, a town that i only knew of from The Wizard of Oz.it had such a cool vibe, so lush and pretty and this show was on the eve of Siennas birthday.this day i met one of my favourite, inspiring, beautiful friends Dylan, he was in the opening band and we are now life long friends.i told the bar manager it was Siennas birthday and here we are, here i am a girl from Australia doing shots in Kansas with the band i was touring with!i have toured in australia with Angela’s dish but it was so boring in comparison to the USA.

i have been a fan of Blondie since high school and looked up to debbie harry since then.

seeming they’re so old i was afraid of never being able to see them live BUT alas they came to Melbourne and i not only got to see them live, but in a 500 capacity venue!

things i wanted to achieve by the time i was 25

  • host the ARIA awards

this is a dream from my wanting to go to the ARIAs and wanting to be a TV presenter.
I still haven’t achieved this and after last years efforts i want to more than ever!
in my head i had this thing that you can only have a career in TV when you’re young, but Fifibox and Sonya Kruger are older so it still gives me hope

so does botox

things i wanted to achieve by the time i was 25

  • be a guest at the ARIA awards

so the ARIAs are the biggest recognition as an Australian musician and I watch them religiously and have always wanted to be invited as a guest, i’m still hoping.
i missed my first day of year 12 to go as a punter hahaha… my priorities were music even in the most important year of high school.

be an actress
another thing i loved and excelled at in high school was drama.i was never the leading role but always had a love for it and pictured myself in a theatre school in sydney and travelling the world.it’s funny i never pursued it after high school and it’s funny to see where the other “drama” girls are today.one is a police woman in the middle of nowhere, another is the first australian playboy bunny. i was in the channel v oz artist of the year add last year does that count as acting?

work on warped tour
like most kids my age watching live videos of our favourite bands like blink 182, the used and sum 41 playing warped tour it became my dream to go to warped tour and to be picked from hundreds of kids waiting to get in to work catering..
so in 2006 when i decided to go to america a friend of a friend was touring managing a band on warped tour and in all honesty she sucked!she was just on the tour to pick up and get wasted…. i later learnt it’s pretty much the aim of her life.anyway she was so flakey she wouldn’t even be available to cover merch while the band played, so my friend claire and i covered for them and we got along so well we just fell into working with them.travelling in a van, the parking lot parties, seeing all my favourite bands… a dream come true!the following year i was thinking of backpacking around the USA when the band approached me to work with them again, this time as tour manager!i’d never tour managed before but have plenty of management experience.2007 was my favourite! it was a party, it was such hard work, it was some of the best bands, the best shows and the best friends made!2008 i was asked back to work, i couldn’t really fit it in and with my nan unwell was afraid to leave home but i get so hungry for warped tour i couldn’t turn it down.it was my last summer but 3 summers of working warped tour, seeing my favourite bands, meeting amazing people, seeing the usa it really was a dream come true.
