so today Heels On Decks (my DJ performance duo with the lovely Miss Shell Ma Belle) got confirmed for a 1940s themed circus event at The Burlesque Bar this Saturday night.
it’s a private function with dwarves, burlesque, pole dancers, hip hop dancers, circus performers, a wall of plush toys, djs and Heels On Decks.
we have made a pretty old school 50s, 60s,70s rock n roll playlist like the Beatles, Elvis, The Kinks with some modern day rock like The Vines and The Living End and then some classic rock like KISS and ACDC…we are going to have tutu’s and hopefully mini top hats to keep with the circus theme.
i’m pretty excited to be DJing and pretty much doing what we want with the set.
i also found out tonight i have an interview for a presenting job! yay! fingers crossed.
